About Us

Growing Generations was established in Hugo, Minnesota in 2016. As a privately owned and operated Early Childcare Center, we take pride in offering premier early childcare service to our families. The ownership team has over 38 years of experience within the care field and we have a passion for providing high quality care for our families.

Unique to Growing Generations is our large muscle space and gym so we have the opportunity for year round large muscle activities. We have a secured entry with biometric scanner, this allows us to make sure our facility is safe and secure for all children in our care. The use of our advanced parent communication tool, Tadpoles, gives our parents to stay connected and up to date on their child’s day. We have the largest outdoor play area with over 5,000 square feet for outdoor fun. We have an in house video system for parents to be able to check on their children after drop off and before pick up. This gives our parents the opportunity to see how their children transition each day as well as watch them use their social development skills with their peers.

We are proud to be able to offer so many unique things to our families along with the highest quality of care and learning. Growing Generations is honored to provide your family with the premier care it deserves and cannot wait to join you in the growth and success of your child’s future.

I have been with Growing Generations since we opened in 2016. I have a passion for helping children through each exciting milestone. I fell in love with my job as an early childhood educator and I love coming to Growing Generations every day. I have three wonderful children and an amazing husband that I enjoy spending weekends with at the lake, going to the Gunflint Trail, and being active outdoors.

My love for children came at a young age and is still going strong. I grew up always knowing that one day I would be working with children in an educational setting because it means so; much to watch them grow and learn. My heart and compassion for our youth are ever-growing and I could not be more thankful to have established my career with Growing Generations. I take great pride in watching them grow, develop, and absolutely cherish watching them achieve their milestones. I absolutely love my job and would not trade it for anything. Family is a huge part of my world and I am so lucky to be a part of the Growing Generations Families.

9 Years Of Experience

I have been with Growing Generations since September 2020. I earned my Bachelor’s in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Winona State University. I love to watch children learn, develop, and grow. My passion for children stems from my own childhood and the reading troubles I overcame while in elementary school. The teachers I had inspired me to be who I am today. My favorite part about being with children daily is seeing when the learning comes full circle. The positive energy from the children is also contagious. Each day is new and I am excited to be here at Growing Generations.

I started my career in Early Childhood Education after leaving a mundane desk job and instantly fell in love. I have been with Growing Generations for almost 2 years and am so thankful to have found such an inspirational Center with such dedicated Teachers and Management. My favorite part of being involved in these centers is the warm and welcoming atmosphere each child gets greeted with daily by teachers that are truly passionate about their job. My time away from the Center is spent with my 6 year old son, my wonderful boyfriend and playful pup. We enjoy doing all things outdoors!
